| You would only need to include these in the weight measurement if you take part in soft tip as the weight limit for those is the whole dart - ie point, barrel, stem, flight, and any stem rings or whatever else you have on your setup.
Steel tip it is recognised that when you quote the weight of darts you use then that is purely for the barrel and point. |

| Whats the weight difference between barrels with cosmos and the same barrels with comparable standard flights and stems ? |

| Not too sure as my scales aren't great, but I don't think there's a lot if anything in it. |

| I think this is now causing confusion with some of the stuff coming from Japan.
Since they are mostly into soft tip, the steel tips sold are weighed the same way as
soft tips.
Always been one of my pet peeves though. I understand why steel tip are sold
by just barrel weight only, but after purchasing some 20 gram barrels, you should
say you shoot with 22 gram darts. Or whatever the shaft and flight weigh. |

| Not everybodys smart enough to factor in the stems etc.
I was showing a team mate my modified chizzys the other day, before I'd weighed them. He asked me the weight and I told him they were originally 22g but were likely to be around 21g now. I kid you not, he looked at me and asked why they'd lost weight... |
