After browsing a few Asian sites of late, its amazing how much innovation and merchandising is going into darts in Asia!

The players are all given there own style of flights and barrels with intricate designs on the flights and some incredible looking darts. With the look of the Asian players with there Manga style haircuts it seems like it will be like American Wrestling in its showmanship. I can see Asia been a very dominant force in darts not long from now, maybe not so much steel tip but the way soft tip is growing over there I think they will rule in that and possibly start to filter into the steel tip game or the steel tip game may be over taken altogether and only soft tip remain.

The clubs and bars in places such as Japan and China are heaving with young people playing on the soft tip machines, with so many people playing they cant fail to produce players to challenge the likes of Taylor, Lewis etc

I can see a future where the players are parading on TV like comic book warriors with hordes of fanatical youngsters supporting them, I dont think the way steel tip is now, will be able to compete with that from the soft tip game and I believe once the youngsters here start to follow that kind of coverage they will want to play soft tip too.
