| Where do you buy your darts and accessories from ? In this day and age many people use the internet but which outlets do you prefer and why ? And remember you can name names here Just occurred to me , When i first bought a set of darts i actually went into town , into a shop and handed the money over personally , Seems to me it was nicer that way , Take them out of the packs try them have a bit of banter , Now all i do is press a few buttons and wait for the postman !! |

| Ive bought Darts from Red Dragon and Pure Darts and also from a store in Edinburgh a few times in the past regards buying Darts this store allows you to try before you buy, which is a plus . Although most buy from the local store in Edinburgh .. and also a local store in my home town which also allws try before you buy Nowadays i wont buy another set of Darts as it isnt the Darts to blame i feel for poor play with all the yrs ive played for regards say playing poorly as its the player not the darts And a mistake i think we all make when say playing not so good we tend to go to another set of Darts |

| I've bought from several places online and would recommend all of the following:
Darts Corner - had one problem with them that got resolved by the bosses, but still great service and I have placed many orders with them. You can also get a freebie with your order depending on how much you spend. A180 - their sponsored players darts are cheap and I can thoroughly recommend the Kongs they sell Red Dragon - love the RD branded darts, great feel to them. They also sold me the Winmau Winstanley's a couple of days before the official release date for other shops lol. Pure Darts - should be first port of call if you want flights or shafts for the bulk discounts they do - and their darts are cheap as well Halo Darts - sells Cosmo gear only Madhouse Darts - great custom darts and made very quickly
There is also the following shop in Japan that sells some Cosmo stuff along with other parts - and it's also the only shop I know in Japan that sends direct to the UK. Excellent service but beware the import charges:
Far East Darts |

I agree about the darts Stevie, but then to have a set ya like and comfy with is important IMHO Thing is though Darren when trying a set of darts out at the store which allows to try before you buy then you shall know the set which feels right for you as u have tried them out 1stly in the store but i know for a fact having played Darts since 1974 that personally i wont ever buy another set again happy with the ones im using now and with experience this buying a set of Darts every say season is only ok for the stores to make money from gullible people whom are so easily taken in i feel when say a pro has brought out another phase 2 or whatever set of darts again and this is only a money racket in which i guess mainly the young Darter falls for ..instance last wkend on Friday this young guy had the latest set of Darts out he bought 2 weeks previously and he couldnt win one single game v myself and only won the odd game v one or 2 others on the board, a big mistake i reckon is people buying famous darters darts thinking if say P Taylor plays with them darts then they must be the real deal but i say to myself --> aye for P. Taylor they are although i would never bring another darter down as am the opposite for instance this other young guy came over to mark the board then he played a game or 2 then other older guy checked his darts out sais to him these are not good darts and another older guy sais the same ..i picked the darts up from the table sais theyre ok Darts m8 to the young guy although i didnt fancy them either really but didnt want the guy to feel inferior and felt these older guys were in the wrong saying such one was in his 70s and still plays and is a gd player for a guy his age fir sure Crikey am 51 yrs and my coxic is done in today Wed so wont be going this Friday i doubt very much Anyhow i say all to their own as long as people dont hurt others in this life is all that matters and is one reason i wouldnt put another person down as to me darts is a game and a game to enjoy whatever the the level another darter plays at it doesnt matter to me We all started off with the love of playing the game and that shall probs stay with you be it on and off for the rest of your lifetime until you feck yer Coxic Though he played with the spinning tops on his stems which id never recommend but all to their own as i sais to the older guys .. Ive never once bought another top players darts this inc Jocky Wilsons Darts when he 1st won the Embassy defeating John Lowe in 82' ..some locals again noobs would buy his Darts because he won the then biggy with them but again that was Jocky Wilson playing with them ..i much prefer playing with a set of Darts with no top name on them best being your own man i reckon that way you picked your own Darts and only after practicing with them after trying several sets out in a store which allows PS / If someone is then good enough to do really well and with a touch of luck on the way hitting the top in Darts then he can then put his own mark with his own Darts for sale but cant with some other top pros Darts ;) |

| bought my first set of darts (winmau simon whitlock gold 24g) at the canadian London PDC event in august. there was a booth set up from a local shop in the area. they had a big selection and a dart board set up for you to try before ya buy. liked the looks of the whitlocks and after throwing them i was sold.
bought my second set (23g perfect storms) online from dartscorner. i was a little hesitant because i wasn't able to see them/test them in person. got a recommendation from my brother so i decided to go ahead and order them. the price was a huge factor, i ended up getting the darts and a ton of flights/stems and accessories for around 80 bucks shipped. if i had have went to the nearest decent dart store to pick them up, i would have had to drive a 6 hour round trip (3 hours one way) and would have paid over 120 dollars just for the darts alone. instead i just waited a week and they showed up neatly in my mailbox.
next set i buy will be from the internet again. i just wish i could get a dartboard shipped for a reasonable price and i'd be one happy camper. |

Darren Aye a ken mickyc ^^ Nothing to be embarassed about as also many people inc myself used to always buy 2 x sets of same ive couple sets of 2 sets same in my room as yet lol can be a handy thing to do buying the 2 sets incase you either lose a set or in my case get a set stolen as i did just the other month back which wasnt nice as had my nale on stems My thinking is im sure i knew whom did such but have no proof ..some little drunking ratbag fae Cowdenbeath whom doesnt even play Darts at all and would do anything for a drink ive always felt him to be a sly sort 2 wks after i went into same bar and he was on his same seat at end of bar and i mentioned about my Darts without blaming him and he sais with his voice raised he wasnt interested in Darts etc etc Be honest i felt like thumping him as he went out the main door for a cigarrette but not worth being charged for knocking his head off his body really the crawling we c@nt Anyhow not a nice thing for anyone to do but ive since did buy another set from Pure Darts which i just put away as playing with the set of darts i swapped another guy for |

| Bought my currents Darts at a Local shop, and paid $150 for my Mega Thrusts! Was able to try them first...shot a 140 with them....lol. I think if you know what style and shape of Dart you like it makes it easier to buy from the Internet! When I buy something from Darts Corner or A180 I buy some Flights or shafts as well.....it is cheaper for me to buy on here than it is to drive 10 mins away and buy them there!!! Love the service at both of these sites.....Find Red Dragon is too pricey for shipping.....I also buy a lot from Ebay UK....prices in the UK are a hell of a lot better than North America!!!!! |

I haven't got a clue about international shipping as I pay just the basic £1 or whatever it is for the UK. If you are just after flights or stems though it may be worth checking out Pure Darts ( http://www.puredarts.co.uk/ ) as they do discounts for bulk purchases. As an example the normal flights I use cost 69p per set at DC irrespective of how many sets I buy. Over at Pure Darts they cost 68p for 1 set, 64p each if I buy 5 sets, or for 10 or more they are only 54p a set - saving 15p per set on DC prices. If you were doing a big order then the bulk discount savings may save you some money. Maybe several of you can put in a big bulk order and only pay the one shipping price - it says overseas shipping costs £10 for up to 2 kilos. |

| I have been a customer of Mueller's for 21 years now.
There's a reason I keep going back.
Cheaper flights & shafts then any other place I've seen.
If you live in the USA and buy accessories elsewhere, you spent too much.
Darts.... I buy all my darts in the UK though. A180 is my 1st choice.
Karl has gone above and beyond a few times for me in the past many years.
As of recently, Simon Hall from Winmau has gone out of his way to help me out.
He's associated with Red Dragon.
Sometimes when you want something rare, you have to go to the actual source. |

| Ebay seems to be the best bet on barrels anymore, hell I've seen the same Target Pro Stone Black Colin Lloyds I payed $110 for (including shipping) go for $30 including shipping more than once. As far as shafts and flights, I, fortunately, have a friend that orders wholesale direct from the distributor and doesn't charge me any markup, so I can get my FitFlight double packs of flights for around $3-4, and Amazon flights for 50 cents or less. Before that, I ordered from www.a-zdarts.com because I liked their selection, or muellers.com(which is where I still buy my boards)because of their super low prices. But if you can find a friend that has an LLC as a distributor (my buddy sells and repairs bows and sells bow strings) they can get them for much cheaper if they know who to call and order wholesale. My whole team gets together and orders enough stuff to keep us stocked for the season usually and it works out wonderfully |

| I got very lucky. You do have to buy a lot at a time, but if you can get a six man team or two together it's pretty easy to rack it up quickly. Especially once they all start looking at the shiny new toys in a catalog or on a website |
