| Just been on the Cosmo site before I get ready for work - they have some new gear coming out shortly. There are some flights which will please Danny, the plain super kites as well as plain w shape, and also some new stems - here's the pics: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]For further details here is the press release - to enlarge the images right click on them and choose view image http://www.cosmodarts.com/english/topics/index.html#t20110446I'm curious about the W Shape flights and the new hybrid stems, but I really wish they would come up with some new kite flights with designs on them instead for the international market (ie here in the UK lol). |

| I got some of the new W Shapes with the pics on - here's a quick comparison between a kite and F shape flights: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Haven't had a real go with them yet - that will be over the weekend - but the few throws I've had so far they fly quite nice |

| Yes, Hiroaki gets alot of feedback from the full and part fit players in JP.
I can assume its one of the Fit Air players idea's as they are very clever. I Notice Karl is now selling Standard Fit Flights, not sure if he will get those in though.

I wonder if there is scientific research that goes into the design of such shapes though, would be nice to know if they do it scientifically and what they think is the best shaped flight for a certain weight or type of throw? I know the Uniboffin at Unicorn supposedly put a lot of work into the sigma flights but I dont see many using them? |

| I think the guys in Japan (players) get idea's in thier heads that dont really suit to be honest. The Japanese are like the Americans.. idea's & novelty people. GADGETS is the word I meant |

| They have to make thier money
Yes I know you say mass produced in plastic but look at the packaging also.. they do put something I beleive in the moulds to give the stems less flex and not wear as much so really this is the balance.
1 set of stems of your choice, 3 sets of flights (if using locked stem) 1 set of stems & 2 sets of flights if using spinning stems.
I am still trying to come to grips with them after 2 years... |
