| I seen a set going very cheap on Ebay U.S. and with some help from Mark (Dartbord) finally got my self a set. Been waiting to get a complete set for some time, and very pleased I finally did. They are a great way to test out different weights of barrel as they can be configured from 12.5g up to 28g using the supplied Tungsten, Alloy and Brass rings. | They are very unusual darts. How old are they? Are the stems part of the dart as well or can you replace them separately? |

Not sure how old they are, been trying to find out when they first came out but I suspect it was possibly late 70's or early 80's. The stems can be removed too so I guess different stems could be used. |

| I was thinking early 90s, it does seem an innovative attempt from darts manufacturers to offer something new. Though I suppose once you find a weight that suits you would just go out and buy a set with the right grip for you. Still, handy for beginners who don't want to spend a fortune on different weight darts. |

Its quite possible they could be later, I just cant get any definite info on the date so if anyone knows for sure please let me know. Yeah it is a good way to test for the right weight, I think there was a few type of darts like this but The Variant seem to be the best ones. |

| Have you counted the total possible number of variations yet grip? You could throw probably 20 different sets AN HOUR with those things. That may be your most cost effective purchase ever.  |
