Hi,

I am planning on putting these on eBay, they are the old Harrows Bristow darts as sold by Argos:

As far as I am aware they have the original stems and flights, just wondering if anyone has a set in their collection if they could confirm or put me right on this please. Also all the info I have is that they were sold by Argos in the early-mid 90's, packaged by Harrow's and weigh 25g, again could anyone confirm this for me please.
I am thinking the more info I have the better chance of getting a better price for them.

I am also wondering if anyone could tell me if I am right in thinking these old darts (were boarded up in a pub cellar for 20+ years!) could be copper tungsten? If so any idea how much I should ask for them?

I really would appreciate any info on either set as my knowledge of darts is zilch compared to some of you guys.

Regards,
Greg

I think your right about the Bristow Argos darts, I sold some a few weeks ago in a private sale for about £17 I think it was.

The other set you will need to look inside the barrels, if they have a coppery colour on the inside then they are very likely copper tungsten.

Thanks for the info Grip, had a look inside the barrels and it is a nice shiny copper colour, so looks like they could well be copper tungsten.

As for the Bristow's, was offered £30 for them at Christmas but decided to keep hold of them, maybe I should have took the money Sad

Cheers for you time and info,

Greg

No worries mate!

The copper tungsten darts really depends on how many people want them and how badly, I sold a set last year for £48 but sold recent sets between £12 - £25

£30 for the Bristow set was a decent enough offer really, its the Cocked Hand Brissys that fetch the most. Never really understand why as there must be lots out there as he was the most popular at the time so I guess thousands of sets were sold.
