| If you have any tips you think may help others then put them here!
I will start:
Stick to one set of darts!
A tip I find hard to do but one that I know is essential to improvement.
I have been using my Target Sprint 23g darts for about 10 weeks now which is 8 weeks longer than any other set I have used.
I think I have improved because of that, and Georges Flight School routines.
Think I would prefer I slightly heavier dart but I do like the grip on the Sprints.
By sticking to that one set though I have developed more consistency.
I think I should have stuck to one set long ago but the collecting bug hit me and also that feeling of what if the next set is better?
Well the next set is often only better for the first few throws, the honeymoon period as it were.
I do now know there is certain darts I dont like, and I think a little experimentation is necessary. Once you find a comfortable set though, you should stick with them for a decent length of time to develop a feel for them. |

| Agreed, I've stuck with the same set since 2009 and never looked back. It's true, a new set of darts may feel fantastic at first, but after a few days the inconsistency creeps in. Soon after that comes the chain reaction that eventfully leads you to reacquiring your old set again. Also known as the "van Barneveld loop" syndrome.

Trying new darts is fun but your right stick with a set or same type dart don't be changing all the time. |

| Well it seems going by that then, that we dont find a set to suit ourselves rather we learn to make ourselves suit a set. |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Whoa there geta, if you think that is what I said the answer is - oh no!!! Flight School is built upon doing 'it' the way you do it naturally as much as possible which in this case means sort through as many sets of darts as makes you heart sing with happiness [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] - but - once you grab a set that feels good in your hand, and the dart combination of barrel, shaft and flight allows the dart to stick straight out of the dart board your search is over. It's over as far as the tool affecting your accuracy and consistency goes, that is. There is no problem with buying hundreds of sets of darts if you are so inclined so long as you do not think a different set or combination will improve how well you play the game. OK, now that I've cleared that up let me get back to what I was doing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Be focused on what your doing, dont just throw the darts willy nilly. |

Yeah, especially during practice. It's so easy to lose concentration and just throw without any real effort. |
