| a little early birthday present for myself . 25g target adrian lewis zirconium darts fitted with silver storm points. very, very beautiful darts. i decided to switch things up with a heavier straight barrel dart, opposed to my regular 23g shortish tapered perfect storms. felt a little awkward at first, but after about 30 minutes i'm warming up to them. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]my camera was dying, so i'll try to take some better pictures after i find the charger. may be awhile boys haha.

| Would you believe that I had some of those LOL!
They are very nice too, just a bit long for me but since then I tried these Target Sprints which are long too but work well with short stems.
Nicely photographed Matt! |

| hmm, well after about an hour of using them, i'm sadly not really sold on them. they are a great looking dart, but for some reason whenever i throw them, they land at very odd angles, usually pointing downwards or to the left. i've tried short, tweenie, and medium stems all with different standard flights and i keep getting the same problem. ive also tried slowing my throw and working better on my release, but still 1 or 2 of the darts always lands flight down at about 50-55 degrees. i never had this issue with my 24g whitlocks or with my current 23g storms. my storms just land nicely in the board with the flight slightly pointing up. i'll head back to the drawing board in a few minutes and see if i can find the sweet spot. |

| well i solved my own problem haha. i was gripping too far forward on the barrel, because i was used to my much shorter storms. i brought my grip back to the rear of the barrel where the microgrip and the shaft is. boom, day and night difference in the way the darts land in the board. here's a 116 out i just shot with them to prove my point haha. | Now they are a nice looking dart - much better than the silica ones - I really need to decide whether to go for the 21g or 23g versions lol |

That's a matter of opinion 8) , I have both and prefer the Silica's, much harder wearing coat and less glare under the lights. Don't get me wrong the golds are very nice but for me the Silica's win hands down, personal choice. |

| i'm a big fan of the gold myself. only issue is, is that one of the darts is a tad darker on the gold scale (i think its the middle barrel in the picture, they're so shiny and with the flash its hard to tell). its kind of weird to see, i think i may do the whitlock thing with that barrel and throw it first haha. still getting used to the darts, but i'm going to stick with my old dependables (23g perfect storms) for my match darts for the rest of the season (~7 weeks). |
