It is a paperwrapped board held together with a metal band around the diameter. The surface is smooth as silk. The bottom one is the same stlye but used and faded. From hanging from the top they tend to turn oblong from gravity pulling down on it. This type of board was made by the Munro Athletic Products Co in Paterson, New Jersey. |

| very interesting that they deform from hanging!
These look them same style as those square ones. |

| If you mean the big square Widdy boards. The center of those boards are paper wrapped and it can rotate on the board to keep it fresh. Ther rest of the board is made of different material which keeps its shape. |
