Well is there light at the end of the tunnel or, Is it a train coming the other way ?

Ive been playing real bad in practice , Just not scoring and coupled with my inability to play well in matches i was a little concerned when we arrived for our match , Had a practice session with a team mate and started playing some decent enough darts which is pretty normal as even when i have a good practice game at match time it falls to pieces !

So it was showtime , I stepped up to the oche for my 6 practice darts , first 3 scored 26 , Second 3 scored 30 , Here we go again i thought !!! lost the bull so was playing second , Along came my turn and a nice neat ton was the result !!! Ok i thought nice while it lasted ,Had a while before my next throw as it was a doubles match and i was paired with the captains daughter nice girl either plays decent or crap , The latter was the order of the day ! So i step up once again and hit 85 ! Holy shit im thinking just keep it up !!! We lost 2-0 against decent players who didnt miss much but on the plus side in the 2 games i had 1 score under 60 so came away feeling like a winner anyway , Which is a positive to take into the next game , Stupid thing is now the doubles are hiding from me , Not by much just the wrong side of the wire but this i shall be working on during the week
