| Like the Title says. This is hurting my game playing against poor players too much. Now don't get me wrong I help out weaker players at least one night or afternoon a week. Giving what i can to help them improve. But not getting good competition is hurting me at the moment. Then league starts and I'm not really ready. I seek out good players but they seem to vanish when it comes to practicing. I need to get beat here and there to give me incentive to practice harder. Right now my very good opponent is my DartMaster3 machine. I'm frustrated My advice play the best players you can find. |

| I agree with you larry....you must play better players to improve yourself.....a couple of suggestions.
N01 is the best piece of software for playing against a computer and it is free...get an ipad iphone, ipod touch or a laptop and load in that programme and enjoy....it also keeps averages.
If you have a laptop or pc next to your board use KP darts...this is a programme that allows you to play virtual tournaments against professionals it is very much like a football manager game, but you put in your scores and see how far you can get in this virtual world. I don't use it as it isn't available for mac but I do have a copy....pm your email if interested Larry.
Winmau Live - an app for the iphone etc. play agaisnt other folk in the world live....me and Donkey have played each other once....a little slow to update but good fun.
RADICAL SUGGESTION.......why don't you agree a time to play against me and we will use the chat box in this very forum..... we will type in our scores/what we have left after every throw.....taking it one stage further we could quite easily have a little competition. Obviously we have to trust each other but I think we can do that. If anyone have face time on their phone of Ipad, we can include that face to face element too. It would take a little planning, but for a one off we could try it......thoughts?? |

| as an alternative to the main chat box, is there anyway you could put up a small sub chatbox that only 2 or 4 people could log into (but others could see) that way they could play a game but the scores wouldnt get lost in the chatbox conversations by the way i have no idea how this could be done as im useless with computers |

by the way i have no idea how this could be done as im useless with computers Ill look into it but I don't think so. Think you can lock it but wouldn't be fair to others. Maybe Grip can help answer this. |
