Large Tex Darts by markbrindza, on Flickr

Don't know how many are familiar with these darts. The barrels unscrew, the point comes out, you can turn it around and store it in the stem/flight, screw the barrel back on and your safe to carry without worry of getting stabbed. These are pretty old fashioned.

Sorry to dissapoint but they are magnatex darts not Tex Darts.

When they guy who owned Magnatex Darts shifted from the UK to Australia, he changed his brand name to TEX darts.. started making dartboards only.. then went on to making darts.
He got to a stage where he shot himself in the foot as he made darts that were 95% tungsten 5% stainless steel.. very compact and lasting forever (many player who got them in the early 1990's are still using the same barrels as they just WONT wear out.

However the barrels came at a not so cheap price.. $79 (I think from memory) for raw & $100 for the Titanium Nitrade ones.
I have more info on him, sorry I havent got it in ront of me
