| I've always got music on and a cold beer on the table next to me. I try and make it just like a League night. |

| I practice with whatever sports are on in the background but always wondered if it would be better with more distractions because you always have them when you play for real. |

| I play outside in my shed.. so now it's quiet except the heating fan that sounds..
In april when we move to a big house I plan to take the kids upstairs to "play" all the time:)
as for now im the only one that could be out in the shed with (-20 ºC = -4 ºF)......
Atleast I dont get sweaty hands!

Well what should I do? hehe:) I mean we rent a place now and that costs a fortune and I really don't want to pay for painting or any damage on the floor when we move out in april and I just started playing for hmm.. almost 7 months now.. so... I love darts! I love it so much that I actually have agreed to move out from this place.. the main reason that held me to stay here was that we have a great broadband.. but all I wanna do now is to play darts.. day in and day out.. I don't play for a team.. I don't even know anyone who is interested in darts.. Still I love it.. I LOVE IT! |

Not sure I could play when so cold though, doubt I would release the darts properly, would probably stab myself in the leg with em lol! |

| I can't be in complete silence, usually listening to music or tv lightly in the background. Or if it's at least talking to somebody while shooting. Agree with sabre, You gotta figure its not going to be silent during your dart match night. |

| I wonder what is so addictive about throwing darts? I could be at my board all day and not care about doing anything else. |

| I usually have an old darts match playing on the computer by my dart board. I've watched the Barney/Lewis PL match from last week about 30 times and the whole of the Barney/Taylor 2007 title match at least that many. I'm working on smoothing out my throw so being able to watch the pros (especially Barney) helps me practice my rhythm of throw.
Plus, hearing the crowds, the scores called out, being able to look over and see someone else throwing, all that makes me feel more like I'm in a match. |

| I usually have some music playing or maybe even dart video's going. My dart room is also my computer room.
Not much bothers me at all. Come on in and do a set of jumping jacks, I don't really care. |

| I like to blast that song they play at the end of the darts show on NBCSports. Something about getting my darts ticket or something. If you can concentrate through that, you can do anything. |

| I always have music playing. Dont like playing in a quiet room. All my leagues that I play in have multiple teams playing in the venue so there is no quiet. |

| It depends really, I try and practise for a few hours every day and obviously having two kids means i'm not gonna get complete silence all the time. But days like today for example the mrs is taking the kids round her mothers for the day, and i'll be home alone so i'll get to practise in peace. I'll be honest though, i've never noticed any difference in practicing in silence or with noise around me. |

I`m like yourself Fox, I don`t really notice a difference because when I`m on the board I`m zoned into playing and playing alone. In general I will have the radio or tele on but I`m not paying any attention to what`s on. |

| Sometimes music on, sometimes tv, sometimes silence but my cat always is there pestering me somehow. He likes to lay under the board and I have to run him off then he will jump on top of my darts when they hit the floor! Little bastard likes to chew on the flights!! |
