| Hi all,
I was hoping you could help me with a little advice here. For the past year, I've throwing a set of either 22g or 24g Sigma 950's, and I love 'em (moved from 22g to 24g a couple of months ago! The shape of the dart feels really comfortable to me and I love the way they fly.
However, I hold the dart very lightly and the grip on the Sigmas just seems like it may not be aggressive enough. It's not slipping on me exactly, but it just doesn't feel all that secure. And I find sometimes that I unconciously start gripping tighter and my darts start flying all over the place. I've tried a few darts that have more aggressive grip and found that, although the shape or weight didn't suit me, I really loved the confidence that I got in my grip.
So I was curious if anyone had a recommendation for a dart that may be similar to the Sigmas, but with a more aggressive grip? Maybe a level 4 grip (or even higher, I guess?)
Thanks!

| Phase 5's or 6's. I've got some some Hamos which could swap. Don't know how grippy they're compared to sigmas though |

| Thanks for the reply adam!
I've thought about the Phase 5's and 6's, but they seem they may be a bit heavy for me as they only come in 26g. I throw 24g, and have been thinking recently about moving back down to 22g due to my light grip.
I've been thinking about the Hamiltons as well. But like you, I can't get a good idea of the grip just by looking at the pictures. It looks like it may be the same level grip as the Sigmas, just more of it down the length of the barrel. |

| McCoy Stealths are very similiar to sigmas, I have the black ones and the grip is much better than my sigmas |

| Thanks for the recommendation, spat. I just looked at the Stealths online, and they look like nice darts! And very similar to the Sigmas.
Question about the grip: it looks like the ring patterns is quite similar to the Sigmas. Do you think that the grip on the Stealths better due to the "aggressiveness" of the grip pattern, or is it due to the black coating? |

| I think the grip is more aggressive than the sigmas, and I think the black coating helps. The McCoy black coating feels great after some wear, almost a soft feel like brass. Sigmas are a little slippery in my opinion and may be due to the higher tungsten content. You cant go wrong with the stealths -they are a great dart. Bulls and PUMA make a similiar dart but kind of pricey, around the same cost as sigmas. |

| I found a YouTube review by Neil Birkin and he seemed to like them as well. Being the impulse shopper that I am, I went ahead and put in an order of the 22g black at Pure Darts. It's kind of hard to pass up for less than $25!
I'm sure they'll take a week or two to get here, but I'll give 'em a try and let you know how I like them. |
