| What was your first ever set? What made you choose that one set? Do u still have them? My first ever was 23g amberjacks because the orange matched my hair and 23g is about standard. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Cant remember what my first set where, but the ones I got when I started again where Harrows Boxer. I dont have them anymore though. Not really sure why I bought them at the time, maybe it was the price £10. |

| First proper set I got were the 25g Bristow ones from Argos (Crafty Cockney?) and yep, still got them. Probably more down to luck as I lost them for 10 years and found them stuck in the beams in the attic while I was having a clear out a couple of years ago [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| My first set I ain't got a clue what they are - I can't access my photobucket account from work but they are 22g and similar to the Unicorn Jetsets. I know they aren't Jetsets as they only came out in 1981 and I bought my darts in late 1976 or early 1977 |

| Played with various brass darforests until I started playing more seriously in the local leagues 20'ish years ago). First set of tungsten darts was a set of Datadart Easy Fighter's in 22g. Still have them. Still throw them. Just a really comfortable dart to hold and throw. Circa 1990's..... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| My first set was a set of light razor grips, just because I already had them in the house! Quickly sold them online and got some John Lowe's! |

| There, that should work. These are my Datadart Easy Fighters circa 1990's (medium stems, springs and Pentathlon/Amazon flights).... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]...and these are the Datadart Easy Fighters as used today (short FIT spin stems, original FIT flights, Trident 180 cones).... | Yeah, I'm not sure if Datadart has changed the design of these since they were purchased 2 decades ago. In the ones in the photo you can see that there is a distinct taper that runs approximately the same length as the grooved section. I'm led to believe that never versions are a straight taper from the rear of the barrel to the front. Can anyone confirm this? I'd lie to pick up another set as spares but want a set with the same shape as the set above.

I meant to post the pic of mine a couple of weeks back - here they are, and they still fly nice today. Rubbish picture - the flights are a set of my old company flights I used to use back then as well when playing for them [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |
