| Hi Guys/Girls. I would like a bit of advice on a set of new darts. First I use - like 23-24g. I have a grip well back, end of the shaft. I am needing an extream grip.( Bad fingers, soft hands.) I like alonger slim shaft. Just had a look at, Bottelsen, Hammer head, devastator.Edge grip.(Black steel) Any advice .

| i have noticed a little more where in the board so you need the give the darts a slight twist as you pull them out. i like them though as between that and the grip at the back it gives me exact points to place my fingers for a repeatable grip. |

Because you said this I'm going to recommend you try something completely different. Have you ever tried a smooth dart? Like a Jenkins, Hankey, or Lee Hayes? As many here will say, they offer a surprising amount of grip. But in a different way than a shark grip. It's worth a try if you can find them cheap enough. |

Thanks Jamie, I have a set of Devon Petersons. I am happy with them just a bit light. I have lost 17 kg, lost alot of power, so I (thorght) not as much power, drop down 2 g in the dart. I borght 3 types, of 22g they all work well, just not my perfect dart. My helth is better and my right arm is strong again. Just the fingers have promblems. I have the storm 24,and have put 5 small o rings on the end of the shaft. It works well,(but) my friends not hapy with the damage on his new board. I could change the points, Still not my perfect dart,Even tryed 3 o rings on a set of whitlocks 24g. The orings dont last long. JD. Thanks for the advice. I will have a look . |

| Aussie Kev, I needed an extreme grip at the rear of the barrel as well. A little lighter than what you wanted @ 22g but they are slightly front balanced and fly well. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Martyn's design from the same range also has an aggressive rear grip with a chunky shark grip. |

| Hey thanks eplea. Nice piece of work. Strange things happen. I did buy a set,23g. the grip looked better on the foto. Got some one80 shadows. I am happy with, just a bit of wax and they are great to throw. So many darts out there, so hard to choose. What I did learn from my experence is, watch the reviews, ask the advice from members, have a look at the darts from Infiniti darts, they have a 7 day try out. So if and when I shop again, I will start there. So thank you to all who gave the time, and have an interest to help with advice. So MANY darts, |
