My dream is to open a darts shop in my local town and if all u members want to help all 1235 members donate me 10 pounds each and ill be up and running in no time lol

I looked into this myself and needed around £6500-00 to set up a decent stock then there's all your rent and rates. We have nothing in Northampton and it's a shame really as darts is growing rapidly. I may do it in 12 months or so when I sort out a few financial bits i'm currently working on.

Could just start on here and build the money up?

I hear they carry dart holders that look like flights!

thats it mate l think 6500 would get a lot of stock but need money as back up as will be slow to start but the way darts is going l think it can work

I might start one on here if mum lets me but selling flights+ stems would be easier to buy from shops because of postage and all that

Wouldn't an online dart shop out of the house be easier nowadays? Eliminates rent and insurance.

Id like to have a shop and run a online store, the shop is there for ur locals and u have a board set up were they can have a chuck be great

Ask the boss if you could buy a part of the shop and do like half cobbling and half darts?

If you have a garage, you can set up in that for the locals.

check out your local county side to see if they'll let you have a stall selling flights, stems etc.

you have a captive audience all weekend of 36 players per side

might be a good place to start.


I will say this though, you've got to sell an awful lot of stuff to be able to pay the rent and rates of a shop

Agree, need to sell something else with them like fishing gear or something!!
