Picked these up the other week, they are copper tungsten (can actually see copper in the thread ... and theres a nice thick layer of green on them were they must have been in moisture ..)

I'm thinking these are the Kwiz range ?

What do you guys think ?

I'm trying to see if I can see any adverts in the old mags.

Like the Alan Evans darts, I think there was a few designs, these show up on google -

Ah nice one Grip cheers.

Those one in the middle, are they the same ones in the large pic you posted (2nd post) ?

As my set look very similar to those (perhaps a different weight).

Annoyingly, there was a set on ebay, years ago.
They had a very similar case to Evans ones, really wish I paid out for them.
Even back then, they went for over £100 so god knows what they would sell for today.

The set I have posted now are a different set, I think the set in that middle pic were lighter, cant remember now.

Yes Rab they are similar to Lazarenko darts too.

I think the Lazarenko dart has a more common shape than the Rees darts though, I have seen quite a lot of sellers selling Rees darts and they have not been the same as mine.

I see people selling darts like these below and calling them Rees darts:

Just gave them a dam good clean, the copper shine they had in thread was actually like a scummy sludge yuk!! So these arent actually copper like i first thought ... but is a good thing as they more likely to be the ones in grips advert.

£20 in 1978 that would have been a fortune then.

yeah it was expensive when it first came out, thats why brass was hanging on for a while and also why they came out with darts that were a mixture of brass and tungsten.

Eventually demand brought the prices down.

If you are unsure if darts are copper tungsten. Copper isn't magnetic, tungsten isn't magnetic and nickel is magnetic.

So try out with a magnet!
