Got these recently and have never seen a set like them before, they are an all in one barrel and shafts with a brass stem ring. There was no flights with them so I put an old Jim Pike flight on. They weigh 25g. It says patent applied for on the barrels but there is no number. I sent some pics to Patrick Chaplin to see if he knows what they are.

Not sure but I dont think it would be possible, I could be wrong though.

How strange, I missed out on a deal to buy a set of these just last week (wasn't you was it lol).

I believe these are called - "Eclipse Darts"

yes he did, made no sense to me, how you list items is the key I think.

Sometimes though I think people deliberately put poor pics, and other times a good clear pic will get the seller more bids, I think if this seller had better pics he would have had more interest.

He listed them as though they were £25 each (so would have been £150 !!!)

I actually spoke to him on the phone and he seemed totally confused lol.

I was gutted I missed them ...... BUT, i did have three bits of really good luck on ebay at the weekend so I can't complain about losing out to fellow collector.

I managed to get a set of Original Leighton Reese Kwiz darts for an absolute steal. (again, crap photos and poor listing).

Also got a set of Phase 1's in original packaging, perfect condition (un-thrown) which say "Taylor 5 times world champion on" for ridiculously cheap

I also did a deal for a lovely set of chuck end dandy darts (been wanting a set of these for years!).

Will have to get off my backside and do another photo session as my collection has probably doubled in the last year.

I already have some Copper Rees Kwiz darts too.

I might have seen the ones you mentioned but never bid on them.

I see him trying to sell the Taylor a while ago and asking silly money for them, but then he did it as an 99p start auction, I got them £13 which was a cracking price.

The Kwiz one went for miles less than I thought they would.

Maybe people just aren't buying at the moment.
I noticed the 'Rare' (or not so ....) Cocked hand Bristows were going relatively cheap for a few weeks, see at least 3 sets go for under £45 .... but then again, a set just went for £70 so I guess it's just a matter of who's interested at the Time.

Had to pay a pretty penny for the Dandy's
I'm actually banning myself from buying anything else for a couple of months now.
Need to save some money !! lol
