I recently came across a handfull of darts that are made of,wood with feather flights and a heavy lead center to the shaft, i'm starting to think they may be fairground darts from years ago as i can't track them down yet. But what do i know! Can anyone identify them please?

No images to view so its hard to say, but they were still selling wooden darts with lead weights as described in the 1970's my father used to play on the Manchester Log end board with them, and I have a couple of sets in my collection.

If its the old lead banded type I think they were around in the early 1900's and were still made till recently, they may even still make them in France were they originated from.
