| I dont do anything specific, not sure what else can be done other than where you place it. Avoid excessive humidity or heat. |

| I have used board gripper points and Target diamond points before and they will wreck your board, especially the diamonds, I had a 2nd set with smooth points in, same set up without the diamond points. Saved the diamond pointed set for league night, used smooth points for practice. May defeat the object as I know some people like to practice with their match darts, for me it didnt matter. |

| Buy more and more and more...... and hang them up everywhere. You can't help but look after them. |

| 1. Hang up new dartboard 2. Hammer away at trips and bulls 3. Rotate 4. Hammer away some more 5. Rotate 6. Enquire on Dartsnutz about best deal on boards 7. Order new board 8. Repeat |

On a serious note though. Do you do anything special to your rare, older boards? |

| Not to much. I will wipe them lightly with a clean rag or a moist wipe depending on the type of board and how dirty it is when I get it. Hang them securely so they don't fall. Last but not least especially with the old ones. Never touch them.

| I don't think there is anything really. The only thing I can think of is don't leave darts in for a long time which causes my board to have big holes in. |

| Other than not hanging it over a radiator and not soaking it in water as some used to say helped but it doesn't Rotate it regularly and vary your practice routines so all areas of the board get a good pounding. |

| Good advice Big - my out side board gets mold so I take a rag with a bit of bleach and rub it lightly. In no way do I recommend anyone doing this. I do it because of the mold and like I say soo very lightly. All in all what Big has said is good enough for inside boards- Do not spray with water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if ya just have to a slightly damp rag will do the trick. |
