| In all of "aiming sports" (archery, shooting and so on), breathing is one of less know parts of all the fundamentals, so a lot of coaches studied the right breathing cycle to improve performance of athletes.
I thought so, can these theories applied also to darts? How can be a corret vreathing cycle to drive our darts allways to T20 (or what we need to close :P) |

| An interesting thought, not sure how much breathing would affect the accuracy of your throw and I dont know any one who has a specific method for when to breathe or hold your breath. I think most people just breathe naturally and dont think about it. Worth experimenting though. |

hahaha yeah the one where you ask them if they breathe out when they throw, puts them off their throw alright. |

While your 'breathing cycle' cant really help you, too much and too aggressive breathing, such as when having a panic attack or under high levels of anxiety can hinder you.. In these instances a short bit of 'tactical breathing' can normalize things fairly quickly. http://www.warriormindcoach.com/blog/2011/02/04/tactical-breathing-for-inner-strength/ |

| I did some experiments this afternoon after work: trying to breathe out (not totally, around 50% of air) during the "loading" phase, the gesture look definetly more comfortable with less effort, holding the breath during aiming and releasing, and sinish to breath out during follow through. Basically is the same cycle I adopt while I do archery, most difficult thing is do this phase totally unconsciously. |
