| England went out to Spain last year in round 1 - at least Canada has a pedigree in the game lol. Anyway, they can still get through if they win the pairs game today followed by the sudden death play-off. |

| Anybody ! He can be real non starter on short formats , Pike is a far steadier player if a little slow , Oh ok painfully slow !!! There are plenty of players that can beat Taylor on a short format , Most probably ! |

| The reason Taylor is there is because he is the England no 1 - until he drops out of the top two in England he will unfortunately get picked to play. Personally I would like to see Pipe get the vote, or maybe Jenkins as he is good over the short course as well. |

Certainly pipe is painful to watch and whilst purist will appreciate his play...it really doesn't make an easy watch for the occasional player/fan. In my opinion.....pro players don't get team formats....,ost of us are league players and we get it......pro players play for themselves. It is strange that darts isn't really a team game...but we play it as a team game |

I see what your saying and your probably quite correct but my contention is if you send a team into any sport you send your strongest team with the best chance of winning , Taylor isnt even in the top 10 of good short format players , No 1 he maybe but that shouldnt really guarantee him a place ! |

| I agree Andy, but unfortunately htis is the way the PDC work this event. As far as I'm concerned the Dutch pairing should have been Barney and Stompe as they are the reigning champions - but as Stompe is no longer the Dutch no 2 he has been kicked off the team |
