Tired of replacing these cheapo coated scoring boards. No I don't like dry erase- want a real slate chalk board that has the cricket numbers- anyone?

You can buy a coating that goes on wood like paint that is the same as a chalkboard - then you could paint the lines and numbers for cricket.

Yes, you can buy tins of blackboard paint and make your own up.

A place I play at has wood backboard with that paint. I wouldn't do it- you need to wear a dusk mask every time you erase it. If you don't win your ok, at least the way we do it the winner erases cause he's the last one that throws! We are going to start taking a dry erase board with us!

You can buy dustless chalk, its not completely dustless, but you wont need a mask. lol
