Just wondering (also hoping this is the right section)

What is the name of the small dart that seems like it is just a long point with a piece of metal around the middel like a collar (must be grip section) and flights at the other end?)

Seen them somewhere, look interesting. Just havent a clue what they are called or the age of them

they are supposedly meant as a training aid, but not really sure how they are supposed to help in that respect, they never came with any info.

I think the minimum weight for tournament play is 10g, so these would be too light.

As far as the training aid part is concerned I think it means if you can get all 3 darts to stick in the board consistently then your throw is good - if they fall out or don't stick in then your throw needs working on.

Having said that there are a few people I know besides Jd who throw light darts.. one guy throws 10.5grams in league!

Not sure where the minimum weight rule rumor came from. I've heard it plenty before. I checked the BDO/PDC site and found nothing on a minimum weight. Plenty on a maximum weight, length rule though.
