For the 2nd time in 3 years Rileys have been forced into Administration meaning that 40 more Rileys across the Country will disappear from view in order to wipe the debts clean. After this they will be picked up by a firm run by the 2 guys who forced Comet into Administration earlier this year.

There's too much happening behind the scenes mate that means that the places are just falling into disrepair and everything.

Things like wanting to be a Sports Bar, but then cancelling Sky for 4 Months and showing no sport!!

Not re-clothing tables, not supplying dartboards, not even supplying lightbulbs, etc, etc.

Stephen Hendry bought the one near me, think thats a sports bar now, 'Hendry's' - they do most business as a snooker/pool venue at weekends but also keep running during the week by having pool, snkker and darts teams.

I would say most of the pubs in our area that are doing OK keep the booze flowing by having midweek pool/darts teams, my local, The Sumpter Horse has both and is doing OK - but it is sad to know that the ones doing OK now are doing so due to the fact that many others are now either closed down, are flats or Indian restaurants.

Damn it man, gotta feel for the unlucky souls who are going to be out of work
