Of course, if there were a row of tv's in the background with a different game on each one and loud music blaring, it wouldn't bother me in the least.

I felt the same way at first. But after playing for years now, it's kind of a pride thing to make the machine sound off. When you hit a 5,6,7,8, or 9 mark and the board makes sounds it's an awesome feeling. You WANT to hear that noise.

No, I've never done the practice dart thing, and it's really annoying, there's a guy I play that does it before every 3 darts, and also before every single shot at a double! So annoying!!

Very annoying, but a few of the yanks in The Worlds do it. Ben dursch, Kirchner and Ray.
