| This the pride of my friends collection of boards. I was amazed today when he showed me how many old boards he had. All I could say was "holy crap" [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Cool board. I haven't seen that one before. It is in really good shape. Have you seen my collection on Flickr? I am up to over 110 boards. |

| After doing some research I've come to realise just how rare this board is. And to find one that has never had a dart thrown at it is amazing. When he closes up shop in 6 months I might have to make this part of my collection. |

Is he going to sell everything of then? It's actually an electronic repair shop. But for most of the 90's up until a few years ago it used to be a dart shop also. This board is from the early 90's. I think that's what he said. I'll have to double check though. Not quite sure what he's going to do with his stuff. He said there's a few things he wants to keep. Most likely I'll be in line for the leftovers. - Lefty544 wrote:

20-25 years? I'll have to check with him again. |

It's an American board Jimbo. A big game in Pennsylvania. Red area is a double. The small area on the outside is the triple. Most players go for the double in this game instead of the trip. Also, the board is set at 5'3 high instead of the regular 5'8. The oche is 7'3. Quite a different game. This is NOT the board that's normally used. | [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] by [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], on Flickr This is a Widdy board which is similar in pattern. Deco which is now Darto also makes a board similar to compete. If you look on my flickr page at some of the old american stlye wood boards you will see this stlye. I don't think I have ever seen it in a bristle board. |
