I'm not an expert by any means but a picture of them and some more details about them may help the other experts on the forum.

Those sprang to my mind as well Stuart - a couple of sets went on ebay recently for £200 one set and £127 (from memory) for the other.

well I bid £195 for the first set that was on recently, then won the second set for £127 + p+p, was surprised as the second set I thought would have gone much higher as it had the original NOTW letter with the winners name on. Very Happy

Hi.

I have a very old valuation which says:
Set of three silver darts with stainless steel points and a aluminium shaft. Hallmarked with Silver Jubilee Hallmark and another old valuation which says Hallmarked London 1977. They where won in a darts competition in approx the late 70's and I was told that there was only a few made. I will try and post a photo shortly.

Thanks

Hi mate, sounds like they may have been made for the special Silver Jubilee contest that was on in 77, not sure what they would be worth to be honest. It is down to what interest they may gather but if solid silver they could be £100+.

Nice darts, i'd say they are worth between £50 and £200.
Its hard to value darts as they are only worth what a collector is willing to pay, im a collector and i personally would maybe go to a £100 if i was bidding but i could see someone paying more

Nice darts Pads2. So you won the second set then Darren I was surprised myself when the first set went for £200, as a few months ago someone listed a set for £115 buy it now and it ended after a week with no bids. I have to restrain myself not to bid on them. My 1938 set are extremely rare. I have a 1938 N.O.T.W programme that list the criteria at the time to possibly be presented with a set, It also announces the introduction of the treble 20 guild badge. I should scan the list of criteria and post it on here, like the badge the silver darts were not only awarded to N.O.T.W entrants.
