| finaly some one has pointed out that i have been throwing across my body in knowing this as i have been hitting a lot of s5 and t5 in my last game off the night i moved along the oche towards the 5 to correct throwing across my body although it still needs work and practise may feel could improve my game but still have the nurves thing but i will fight my way thro it

| I stand more left of the ockey than anyone I know but I still drift into the 5's. Jimbo posted awhile ago about an imaginary line from the bull to the middle of the ockey and you just try not to cross the line with the follow through. Im still chuckn 5's though  P.s. I try to line my shoulder up with the bull but I dont lean forward allot but I do lean back a bit, thats why I stand alot to the left.  Hmmm new topic? |

| Dirty, the line runs up the board, through the middle from 3 to 20. If your follow through finishes to the right of that line, then you shouldnt hit 5's. |

| The important thing on your throw is the follow through, not where you stand. If you are comfortable standing over to the left then that's where you stand. I always stand to the right and have done since I started playing all those years ago. I tried throwing from the middle and to the left, but whatever stance I used I couldn't hit a thing from either as it didn't feel comfortable. |

| I tried moving in different positions along the oche but I still hit lots of 5's, I think it is something else causing it, likely my follow through but could be my release too? |

| im only standing a little of center i know we all hit 5's but i hit a lot 5's lately just my way of correcting it at the moment a while it works ill stick with it i think |
