| I've gone from 21g to 22g to these and experimented with various weights and shapes. I'm waiting now until my pub league is over to try heavier darts, liking the Beatons I got off you very much so I'm looking forward to puttin a bit of practice in with them when it's over. Sticking with the Nicholsons for now. |

| Like the look of the Beatons myself, from an aesthetic point of view though really as I'm not sure they would suit my throw. however they are 12.99 at the moment on offer at Argos which is tempting!! |

| Where do you grip the dart danny? If you hold it at the rear of the barrell there is plenty of grip but almost none at the front. You kind of have to hold them a certain way because of the design which is useful if you find yourself gripping the dart in different places, happens to me a lot with the nicholsons but i've learned to readjust before throwing. |

I grip right at the front end of the barrel, which is why the Beatons would definately not suit me. I've just got a set of Mason darts (not opened them yet because the postman delivered them just as I was leaving this morning). the grip on them looks perfect for me and the scallop looks to be in the right place. Can't wait to have a chuck with them tonight!! |

| One of my friends has the Winmau Assault 23g which has a scallop slightly to the rear and he loves em. I couldn't get one with them, just didn't like the atomised grip on them but I did like the scallop. Was looking at the Shot 901 darts and the Devon Peterson darts, could be a birthday present for me |

| I'm using wades atm, but I removed the black rings so they look cooler. Am I right in thinking the nicho's are pretty much the same? I agree about the treble looking huge if you ht it first dart, which I rarely do tbf! |

They are almost identical as far as I know except the smooth part at the rear of the Wades is longer. I haven't got a set of Wades to compare but might have to get some in the future. Nicholson used the Wade dart when he started out and based his on them, or thats what I heard. |

Really? Didn't know that, might have to invest in a set - SilverSaber wrote:

Yeah, makes the treble look huge if you hit it but its harder to use them as a marker, or thats my experience anyway but then again I ain't too accurate |
