| 1-119: From here on, you'll need all three darts to finish. You'll need to know the danger spots from the previous range in order to avoid them. 3 Darts Option 2 Comments 111 T19-54 Safety S7 or T7 leaves a 2 dart finish 112 T20-52 Avoid T5 and D1 are the only safeties on this number. Try not to leave yourself here. 113 T19-56 Safety S3 or T3 leaves a 2 dart finish 114 T19-57 T18-60 Safety S7 or T7 leaves a 2 dart finish. Safety S4 leaves a 2 dart finish (T4 doesn't) 115 T20-55 T19-48 Safety S5 or T5 leaves a 2 dart finish 116 T19-S19-40 Safety T7 or T3 leaves a 2 dart finish. The T19 can happen on the first or second dart. 117 T19-60 Safety S7 leaves a 2 dart finish 118 T20-58 Avoid T18 leaves 62 which forces a triple or DB to finish. 58 is much easier with 2 darts. 119 T19-62 Safety T3 leaves a 2 dart finish. Avoid S20 leaves 99! |

I always go for the T18 on this one - it actually leaves 64 which is either 14,bull or T14,D11. Whatever you choose as your first dart on this one, if you hit either side of the number you are going for you don't have an out shot left. Also if you only hit a single 20 then you need a treble to leave double 19 (not a great double for most people) whereas hit a single 18 then it's treble 20 to leave the better double 20 |

| 118 The correct classic way but seldom used way for this shootout is T17[color=red] T17 r=blue]]D8. Gets people to use the bottom of the dart board as well Bo |

| 118 for me would be T20 - S18 - D20 , That would be my choice anyway |

| But also i should really use the bottom of the board more , But would never want to have to hit more trebles than i had to on an out shot and thats the reason i would go the 20s route |

Why move around the board if you hit 17 you still have T17 for bull if you have hit T17 and hit a 17 with you second arrow you still have bull. darts is easy its played in the head!!!!!!!!!!!! Bo |

| I've actually never thought of the t17 way. But thanks Bo-jangles I might give that a try considering a miss still gives ya a shot at bull |

It really is the only way to go, the feeling of elation you get when you attain it, is worth the hours of near misses, as the topic says shoot out for the average player but you will always remain average if you don't try! your the only only person that knows what your capable of. Bo |

| I notice a lot of players on 108 doing the shanghai on 18's which I can understand......but as we usually aim at t20 that is also a sensible route....single 20 either stay they for another shot a t20 for 14's or if t20 blocked t16 tops....but the bonus is hitting t20 first dart you have the bigger target of 16 or 8.
Having said aggis....our member here hit three d18's just to p!ss me off the other night lol |

Having said aggis....our member here hit three d18's just to p!ss me off the other night lol Average dart players theme. Your reasoning is sound and the way to go, however average dart players (or learners) are better advised on the 18 segment, because of hooking and slicing if they slice or hook into one of the single segments either side of the 18 they are still afforded an out shot, whilst the 20 rout only allows a slice into single one for an out rout, a hooked shot into single 5 leaves embarrassment. | I always go the 18's route on 108 and hit shangers on them the last 3 times I've played (Thurs, Sat and last night ). I'm comfortable with the T18 as it's part of my practice routine anyway. |

| I would disagree with your 112 Single 5 leaves 107 (57-db), T5 leaves 97 (57-40) d1 leaves 110 (T20-db) The only ones that dont leave there are s1, t1 and d5 So the tip of that are to aim a little at the right in the 20 Otherwise good examples Cheers |
