Thanks, finally broke out of a massive slump last week and hitting real good. Just played24 legs of 501 over the last couple of days and i may have reached my yearly goal of moving up to a consistent 60 avg. Now to try and bring that into league play with me

I'm always complaining (to myself) that I RARELY get big checkouts over 130. I could play awesome darts for a month and not have ONE big checkout. Really irks me. I see big outshots on streams all the time, yet I can never seem to get one in practice. Well..... I got me one today. A big fat 146!!! I'm well pleased with that.

Hit this one last night and was really please! Basically I've been having real problems with my eyes lately, due to some infection that damaged my cornea on my right eye. Much better now but still can't see perfect. Anyway, I know where I'm throwing my darts (because I dont 'aim' as such), but cant necessarily see exactly where they land in the board, so got a nice surprise when I went to retrieve my darts and found this!

got some decent groupings back last night but throw still not near right, shame too as my tripod and adapter are coming today so i could video some practice and challenges. Refuse to do that the way im throwing right now.
Anyway here are numbers 74 and 75. The first one you can tell were "squirrely" darts. Then the second you can tell i was starting to straighten things out.

No mate! Thankfully it has resolved, but because I wear contact lenses I cannot wear them at the moment. I had to have some glasses made in the interim and unfortunately due to the damage on my eye they got the prescription wrong so now that things are on the mend my vision is crap. Still a bit sore but thankfully no lasting damage thanks to steroid eye drops!!

JD, reason you dont hit a lot of big pegs is that you score so heavily that you end up blowing past them. lol

Managed to get no 500 for the year last night, and followed it up about 10 minutes later with no 501 (didn't take a pic of that one though although I should have given that's the game I usually play lol)
