| Just wont to ask if this wrong??? After playing team darts for just over a couple of years, and our first season we were the wipping boys of the division, i was getting fed up with loosing and thought about packing me darts in again , after a 20 odd year lay off, but thought no stuff this im going to practic and work hard, and if i saymyself has paid off, into our third season and we got promotin from the summer season, won it and got runners up in the winter season and got promotion also only loosing three games all season.. Now it may sound nasty, BUT, i shake hands before a game and after win or loose, but when i win that look in your oppents eye, youv won, the feeling you get, i love it , and to see there expresion of dispointment, on there faces, it may sound harsh, but , i had this feeling week, in , week out, but through hard work and many hours of practice , even to this day, we are doing well still and theres not many a side who we play comeawy with many points from us. Is this wrong, or just being competive?? |

| I don't see anything wrong with it, your not going out of your way to annoy the opponent and you arent rubbing it in their face so no harm done...getting satisfaction out of beating your opponent is perfectly natural in my opinion, especially when you have worked hard on the practice board to get your results. |

| Hell I hit a double 19 to win, did the loud boom, then danced around doing the bugaloo ! I was a little tipsy and normally don't do that but it just came over me. MVG has nothing on me |

| My 24 year old son who is competitive at everything he does and is a good boxer has a saying.
Show me a good loser, and I'll show you a loser, |

| I don't care for the look of disappointment. That tells me they didn't play their best and they know it.
But I LOVE the look on the face of a player I truly beat by playing better darts. The mutual respect and sincere congratulations means more to me than the win itself. |

This most closely describes my feeling. I've been on the losing end of this discussion for a while and appreciate a respectful look when I get pummelled. I did try my best and buddy acknowledged that. I will ensure I'm a gracious winner.....but still a winner(smile) |

| Always savour your wins as you well remember the way you felt when you were on the losing end.
Just don't gloat about it. |

| I'd say I mostly agree with Chalk...unless maybe it is against someone who used to be better and made a point of grinding your gears a bit when they were on top. Heck, that's just divine justice! The biggest moral of this story is "He who practices wins
I'm not so much a fan of "show me a good loser" clichés. |
