| I rarely watch BDO now if I am honest, I love the PDC and appreciate its roots was the BDO, in fact I think there is very little if anything between the standard of most of the players, however I just love the hype of the PDC, the glamor and glitz of the events, the noise and banter.
I just feel the PDC is more exciting to watch, not taking anything away from the BDO lads as it's not down to them how its run or how its presented, I just personally prefer the PDC. |

| I love the Grand Slam Gaz, my 2nd fav event after the Worlds, the fact it put the best in the PDC against the best in the BDO is something that should be done on TV more often in my opinion. Enjoy the event and also welcome to Darts Nutz, it's great to see new members posting |

| Being an old git I was brought up with the BDO system in the mid to late 70's - it's a real big shame to see the way they have become now. Anyway that is a different topic lol.
In the mens I reckon last nights events with Scotty and Wolfie were just blips and that won't happen again at Lakeside.
There's a few good players in the mens section and I reckon it will be between Bunting, Waites, O'Shea and Wolfie, and also Harms and Dekker could go close for the overseas contingent. Out of those I would love to see O'Shea take the title as he deserves to win it at least once in his career, but I think Bunting will take it.
I would love for Deta to win the ladies as she may only have another 1 or 2 tries left in her, and again I think she deserves at least one Lakeside title before she retires. Anastasia and Trina, if she manages to qualify, won't make it easy though.

He doesn't play in the BDO any more so I've got more chance of winning Lakeside than he has lol |

He suffers from gout or something and needs to take medication to calm it down - that's why he doesn't play many competitions - dartsrotty wrote:

The final of the ladies Masters tomorrow is between Deta Hedman and Julie Gore - so that means Trina has now qualified for Lakeside. They just did the draws for Lakeside and Robbie Green has drawn out the current holder Christian Kist. In the ladies event at Lakeside Anastasia has drawn out her usual doubles partner Lorraine Farlam. Can't remember any of the other ties lol. |

| O'Shea is the BDO's version of Terry Jenkins. Always the bridesmaid but never the bride.

| Yeah, Tony O'Shea is the BDO's version of Terry Jenkins. That said, I'd still love him to pull it off, however, if I was a gambling man then I'd put a few bucks on Stephen Bunting winning it? Unless the Air-conditioning blow those 15gram darts of his off course a tad. |

| Now if Bunting picked up a set of 25g darts he would call it weightlifting.
