In the mid to late 90's they used to have a slow motion camera that would follow the darts flight.
Sid Waddell used to love it, and compaired the Phil Taylor release and dart flight compaired to the Dennis Priestley and others.
This was when Taylor was starting to dominate and stacked the thin unicorn world champion phase 1 darts. Taylors darts used to go smoothly throw the air, in a low arc with only a slight wobble at the start.
But the Priestley darts used to wobble nearly all the way to the board in a big loop.
I would like to see this camera used again to see how some of the other players darts fly.
Would love to see the Barney, MVG and Lewis darts in flight.
Also think the Wes Newton dart would move all over the place, as he often has a few darts drop out of the board. Even though he have some target diamond points fitted which really grip the board.
