| That for me is a hard question. My most expensive ones Ive bought have been My Hamilton's and the Phase 6's somewhere around 45-55 GBP if I remember correctly. I did once pay 125.00 USD for some Black Eagles by Laser Darts soft tips ones (which got stolen). What say you ?

| The most I'd be willing to spend is around $1000.
But unfortunately I didn't win the Powerball lottery last week.
But if I did... |

| If the darts were rare enough and I had money to burn then I could easily see myself going into 4 figures lol. But as that ain't ever gonna happen I reckon up to £100 (although my highest so far is £55 for my Monster Ogres) |

| For a rare set the most I paid was close to £100.
For a retail modern set then I would not want to pay more than £60, but would have to really want them to pay that much.

I would probably be willing to fork out up to £100. No dart is worth more than that imho. That being said I would need a very good reason to spend that much. Those sigma's at £60+ are a rip off imo

| i couldn't see myself paying over £40. if I was after a dearer set i would probably try and get them second hand. |

| I spend more on alcohole each week at darts than I did on my darts. so I guess i could stop drinking and get the laser guided stealth G.P.S. homing pin point stooge proof arrows for quite alot of $'s.

| I spent $65 for the darts I have now, but the most I would be willing to go is probably around double that. I was looking at a set that were $114 when I found the ones I have now on sale marked down from $99. |

| I would not pay above $150 for a set. The way I see it, darts are a relatively cheap hobby/sport. I've been playing off and on for about 25 years and have owned about 3 or 4 sets of darts. I believe buying what you can afford and like. You have to have confidence in your equipment and trust that it will do it's part if you do yours.
Now take my other hobby, Golf, that can get crazy expensive in very short order. I've spent $2200 on my last set of clubs. Hell my putter is $350 alone. Throw in balls, gloves and just green fees; I'd be afraid to calculate how much I've spent. But my equipment is fitted and I trust that it will do it's part if I do mine. When I struggle I think to the times I've shot 2 or 3 under par.
So with that being said, I have no problem spending $150 on a good set of darts that may be used for 5+ years!

| Two answers to this question for me which are as follows, for a new set of darts id pay £30-£40 maximum now however i have paid more in the past but i find i can pick them up much cheaper across the forums.
I will never ever purchase a set of darts at full price which ive not tried before hand to be sure they are for me, ive wasted so much money of the years doing this so i never do it now.
If i was after a set which were say vintage they i don't have a budget but saying that i cant see me wanting any vintage darts. |

They'd better be, I could have kept the old ones and bought a ton of beer!!. Kidding aside, I do really like them and they have improved my game. I know that changing things too much will hurt my game so I won't be thinking about getting any more for at least a year or 2 Someone else mentioned the cost of darts being relatively cheap compared to other sports and. He's very right, I used to race mountain bikes and that got expensive quickly, kayaking is a fairly expensive hobby as well. |

| My opinion on what I would spend has now been changed after getting my Whitlocks from Lion. These darts feel so much different from my usual $30 no name brand darts that I buy.
They feel like an extension of my hand. I'm thinking that this may be what I need to take my game to the next level.
So I would be willing to pay $100 or more for the right set. |
