This is an interesting concept that didn't catch on. Brush tip darts and a brush surface target.
Made in 1913. I restored the feathers the originals were pretty bad.

The rims of the box were shot. So I restored the feathers and framed it to preserve it.

Of course I had to try them at least one. It is like throwing a golf ball with the wood ball grip. They do stick. Its like throwing brushes at brushes.

a very interesting idea though but guess it was a doomed concept.

I actually think it was a novelty for a brush company.
I did aquire another one where the box was more intact and the darts were different colors - again the feathers were shot. I just put it away. I like the fact that it is amost 100 years old.
