| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]These are my current favorite playing darts... They are Andy Hamilton 25gram Maestro darts. Two sets are 97% Maestro Naturals, and two sets are Golden Maestro Premiers. Andy's darts have progressed from an akward un-uniformed straightish barrel grip to a sigma style dart similar to taylors phase six, and eventually to this model which features level 2-3ish grip up and down the entire length of the constant curve barrel. I get the impression from unicorns web site that the maestro naturals are being phased out in favor of the goldens that hamilton uses on tv in the pdc. The natural set is fitted with a magnesium sigma slick stick shaft, and the goldens are fitted with a Ti coated steel shaft(Neither stock, my additions). Have been using the slik stiks since last feb when I put them on my phase 6's(then my playing dart). Wouldn't ever go back. Flights never pop out and more importantly, they are amazing for sighting your dart off of, something I noticed Lowe and Taylor seem to do religiously. Two sets are fitted with storm gripper points and two with smooth points. All points are 28mil short points, I hate long points not sure why. I am a huge fan of the points for many reasons but the most important being that I find the default flat bullnose to be extremely distracting. Through out my play I have grown to prefer the golden darts. For some reason, the naturals play great especially on my double 16's and triple 19's but I can never control them when throwing high for double 20's, 18's and 12's. However, with the goldens I don't have this problem. I assume there is something about the Ti coating that prevents some sort of slip in my throw when I lob them upstairs. I am under six foot and hold the dart on the front downward curve ahead of the center of gravity, so I'm assuming I'm a bit of a faster thrower which may be why I have more difficulty with the naturals. Great darts!

| Just wish unicorn had a version of the storm point to fit a little flusher with their darts! Still a unicorn fan through and through |

| Awsome arrows there V just need a quiver for them all Are both your stems magnesium? Different weight stem might be why you throw 1 set different to the other. and did you notice your dart landing any flatter whe you changed to the slicksticks? |

| Hehe, wish I had a quiver, got lots of spare leather...future project?
don't have a scale to weigh them, and yeah my darts land real flat like at a 85-90 degree angle out of the board, almost completely perpendicular.
When I first switched over to the slick style I was using slim flightst so the were hitting at a 65-70 degree angle, but I went I started cutting standards to sigma shapes and it totally made the difference in accuracy but in turn made them hit at that real flat angle. |

| Whitch one of your flights out of those 2 you described do you think has the most surface area? Usaly a smaller flight (for me) makes your dart faster and land flatter. If the same amount of surface area is mostly at the backend of the flight like on the sigma as opposed to the slims (all along). Then this could have some effect to.
Have you used he sigma shape flight with a standard stem (same length) to see if there is any diff? |

| no can't say i have tried standard stems, standard stems are a bit longer than the sticks too though, yeah the slims have more surface area for sure. Will try it out later, right now the wife is sleeping(garage shares wall with the master bedroom) |

| Nice darts, I have a set of 23g gold sigma style Hamiltons, gold slick sticks and sigma flights. Real nice darts just wish they were a little thinner. I think they are one of the prettiest darts made! |
