Well....got my darts last week and the board arrived today....after 5 diff attempts to put it up on 5 diff walls i finally thought i'd cracked it! So off i goes and all was well....

Then i had a problem with the stems coming loose....didn't realise you used the hole to tighten them up so once i knew it was all good!

But not long after......the dartboard fell off the wall and killed one of my darts!!!!!! I have no spare stems as of yet and think i need a guy to put the board up but hey i will be back!!!!!!!!

And i didn't realise how dirty my keypad was till i saw the pic so no comments thank you....been thoroughly cleaned with a toothbrush!

This mad me laugh out loud. Haha.

Oh Carole. What happened?

The easiest way I have found to hang a board, is to get a sheet of MDF and fix that to the wall, then mount the board on the MDF. This also protects your wall from stray darts.

This is what I mean.

Hmmm....well it should be easy Jimbo! 2 screws in 1 bracket....however my walls think otherwise and i do not have a drill! Lolololol!

You will probably need to use a drill Carole. Ask a friend if they have one you can borrow.

I have gathered that Jimbo!! I dont think blu tac and sellotape are ideal.....especially after it fell off the wall and killed my dart :-( Thankfully the dogs learnt very quickly to stay away from me whilst throwing! Hopefully i can find someone to sort it for me...get the lakeside booked for me for next year!

Good news guys!!! I found 2 roll plugs and had another go.....i don't think it will fall down this time!!!

Carole, have you tried fixing the darts to the wall and throwing the board at them.

Well it was a blessing in disguise blowing my lights up by putting a nail through the wire whilst putting my cardboard backboard up!!!!!!! The electrician put my board up properly and brought me 2 stems!! Sorted!

Have you ever thought about life insurance? Would you be carefully!! Hope you avoided a electric shock.

I have no idea how i didnt get a shock Rab!!!! Oh well my trials and tribulations of getting a board and darts have given a few people a chuckle (including myself!!) All turned out well in the end
