Simple Yet Effective Empty
PostSubject: Simple Yet Effective   Simple Yet Effective EmptyWed Sep 12, 2012 1:41 am

My one knock against straight barreled darts is that I find it hard to grip them in the same place every time.

Here is my solution to that age old problem:

I put a set of o-rings in the same place on each dart.

Oddly enough, once I got used to gripping the dart in the same place, I hit a ton80!!

I would actually like to get something designed like that in a lighter weight. I like where that scallop is on the front of the barrel

Hey Nucky, does the o ring give you a better grip on the dart as well as getting your fingers in the same spot?

I have seen some cheap soft tip darts that have a rubber grip.

Dynastar do rubber grip rings.
And they use them for a REFERANCE GRIP. <-----second photo 3rd dart down
But I asume they are fatter and for a wide deep grove. I think they are designed for soft tip (maybe the 1's dave was thinking of). Was wondering if the steel tip would penetrate the rubber?
