Right,
when i grip the dart i grip it with my thumb in the middle of the dart and 2 fingers at the front and 1 finger at the back but with my target chizzy darts where i place my thumb on the dart is where his name is placed in the middle, so my thumb isnt getting any grip. i dont know what too do as i feel when im about too shoot for a double my darts seemed too slip a bit. was thinking about selling the darts and getting a set of darts with grip all the way through the dart like phil taylor purists.

what shall i do?
do i keep the chizzy darts and see how i get on or sell chizzy darts and get purists which will help my grip?

If the darts aren't working for you and are affecting your confidence when going for doubles I would say try the purists, If you could afford it though I would hold onto the chizzy's until you have tried the purists incase they end up being worse for your style of throw.

I would do what Hamo says and try the Purists, alternatively if you like the Chizzy darts you could have some grip added to the smooth part.

Well if i was going too buy the purists i'd go too the a180 dart shop in stoke which would allow me too feel the grip and throw them

You we need to send it to either Madhouse Darts or Eddie Ede to have them add the extra grip.

Madhouse may be your best bet.

how much roughly would it cost grip? because i do love the chizzy's its just that smooth part of the dart & i might do, atleast if buy it from the a180 darts shop in stoke ill be able too try the out before i buy

Hey sharpy! I throw the chizzys and had the same problem, my thumb sits in the smooth bit. I bought a set on ebay that eddie eade had customised for someone and they're lovely arrows. Basically the smooth part is now a shallow scallop allowing me to grip the same place every time.
