Yeah they've been around a while. they're Ok but all the extra weight is obviously at the rear of the dart, which can alter balance and flight. But theyre pretty cheap, so if fancy them best advice would be just buy a set and see how they go

I have seen them but never tried them, as fox says it will alter the balance point so I think they are not a true way to judge if the extra weight is better, as the barrel is effectively lengthend with them.

Made of brass I believe? Wouldn't do it myself as it would do funny things to my already sometimes iffy flight path! lol!

I have a few sets of these and they work just fine for certain things. for instance I had a short barrell topload dart that was to light for me and to DROOPY (I cant use them) screwed the add A G's on and it seemed to level the dart out quite alot.
They are quite fun for experamenting with eg if you'd like to try a longer barrell.

you could screw 237 on each dart and poke them in were you want. lol on floor

Could be useful for soft tip'ers aswell if you wanted a little extra weight at the front of the barrel for example

On a serious note, I might have to pick up a set of these because Iv some phase 3 softies coming, 41mm long, could do with a bit more length for me

I am pretty sure you can get them in 1gm the ones i have at home which are the standard are 2g.
The title is tricky its not "ADD A GRAM" its "ADD A GRAMS" hence 2gm at a time.

OH and Grip I think they are 10 or so mm long. 237 of them will get me to the bull.

Ah 11.5 mm acording to the ruler.

Someone should make these in tungsten.

Just had a close look and the female end is extreemly deep, they could have made these shorter if you were just looking for weight. but if it is length you want FOXY then these are for you, that'll giv you a total of 52.5mm on those phase 3 's.

Yea youll love them. I like a long barrell and a 26g. I brought these just to experament with my old set of 22's. They also change the final angle on the thrown dart. Usefull for top loaded darts.

I wound up stuffing around for hours, trying them on every set if darts I own.

SUCK TO BE YOU lol
