i got these on thursday and have been really happy with them so far. though i don't have much to compare with as i have only had the brass darts that came with my board and my harrows v-wings i bought later i thought i'd try and do a review.
i was looking for a long slender dart and ones lighter than the 25g i had been playing with. the darts corner selecta proved a great tool for finding these and something i feel other sites are missing. the darts are 90percent tungsten 56.3 mm long , 5.65 mm wide (the thinnest and longest i could find). they feel very well made something that i was pleasantly surprised about after opening the first box containing the one80 dot trainer board. ill try and review the board later ,but for now just say the quality is far from good. the stems and flights that come with them aren't up to much (clear bubble short stems/flimsy flights) not that this will bother many people as they will prefer to use their own set up anyway. the darts come with the "solibox" which i like alot as you can just drop the whole dart into. there is no room for accessories in the box so i also bought the "solipocket" a leather wallet the box fits into and has two pockets on it that fit 6 stems and flights. i love how thin these darts are and it is amazing how much room they leave in the treble bed. i've managed 2 180's so far and if i was capable of such feats i would of had room to put another 3 or 4 darts in there! i also really like how the nose tapers right down to the point (no need of tridents on these) the rings do offer a lot of grip though i cant compare this much as i grip from the back and my harrows are smooth at the back. the balance point is right in the middle with short nylon stems and standard flights. the points are highly polished and do need roughing up a bit as the drop out . as you can see from the photos i have done this but not as much as it seems from the pictures. this is the first time i have reviewed something so i hope this helps anyone thinking of trying these and if there is anything else you'd like to know or see i'll try and help. sorry can't confirm the weights as i don't have any scales.
