I'm sure I've seen something like these on here before but I can't find them lol - can anyone please id these for me? I saw these on ebay and the guy selling them didn't realise they had points on them until someone asked lol - he posted a picture something like this one: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The main barrel is actually in three parts, stem barrel and point, that screw together as above when not in play and stored in the leather pouch. The separate parts look like this: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The flights are in two pieces and are folded in half. These are then put on the stem part of the dart and this is inserted in the main part of the barrel. When you screw the point piece in, as you tighten it up the tines on the stem also tighten to grip the flights until they look like this: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]They are a nice little dart - 24g weight - and to preserve the flights I may make some new ones in different shapes to use with these - I like these ones so will throw them occasionally

They look interesting, I dont know what they are but they look a bit like the pen dart that is an all in one dart which screws apart into 3 pieces. Looks something along those lines anyway.

Damn - I was hoping you either had a set or knew what they were lol. It might have been the pen dart that I was thinking of - I know I've seen a set somewhere that is in 3 pieces like these. This is what the seller replied when someone asked about the points: Q: are there points with the darts? A: Talk about missing the obvious - I have looked this morning at the group and there are no points - there seems to be a screw thread where they should have been - sorry.I knew as soon as I saw them where the points were, and the seller obviously looked at them properly after he answered this question as he edited the description to that effect. Until he did that I was winning these for the princely sum of £2 - after this the bids went up and it cost me £6.49 for them in the end - still well pleased at that price though. Patrick Chaplin is already trying to find some info out on something else for me - I may ask him about these as well though at a later date

I dont think anyone knows who made the Pen Darts either, trouble is there were so many things like this made by less well known companies or even individuals as one offs so its always hard to find info on them.
