| These are modified Target Dave Chisnall darts. Originally 22g now 21.5g due to slight barrel reshaping. The darts [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]As you can see the smooth area towards the back of the dart is now a shallow scallop. The five rings in front of the scallop now have a lovely micro grip added. Close up of the grip and scallop. | Nice work on those.
I think I've asked before, but how do I get ahold of Eddie?
Thanks. |

| I thought I recognised the handiwork lol. The DC forum is broken again so I can't check, but I think he said it cost him £15 plus postage (that may have been for the Madhouse option though).
The thing that really impressed me about this set was that Del only had them back about 4 days before he chucked them on ebay. Personally I would have kept them for at least another couple of weeks before deciding whether to sell them or not.
I was actually tempted to get a set of the natural Chizzy's and get them modded in the same way and keep the gold ones as they are. |

| They're a very nice dart mike, I'd definately suggest having the work done. |

| It's back up again - god knows what's going on over there. They did an upgrade to the software on Friday that was supposed to cure these issues - obviously worked a treat this afternoon lol |

| I guess its the same with custom darts though, as we dont have the luxury of a big company to let us keep making changes to get a perfect dart its hit and miss. But the more I hear of Eddie Ede or is it Elven I get mixed up, the more I think I will give him a try.
He maybe should have tried them a little longer though. |

| Del should definitely have tried them longer - 3 or 4 days is nowhere near enough time to decide whether they suited or not. I know you can get a honeymoon period with new darts, but you should give them at least a week or two - especially if you are going to get an expensive set and then pay more on top to get them changed.
As far as custom darts are concerned, yes it is hit and miss, but if you know what features you like on 2 or 3 different sets of darts then your design should angle more towards the hit side than the miss.
And also, the DC forum is down yet again this morning lol. |

| Well I sent my design in to the Dartswarehouse comp, if they dont like it and I dont win, I will see if I can get a custom set from Eddie. |
