| Well £6 a set of barrels ain't to be sniffed at, so I got 3 sets of the 20g versions courtesy of Pure Darts lol. I also get 3 sets of steel tip conversion points for them in red, silver and blue. The conversion points needed O rings, but I still had enough of those left over from a year ago. The versions are: Red stems - ringed White stems - facet Blue stems - knurled & facet [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Have had a couple of chucks with them and they feel good - and as they are barrels only, if I decide to get a soft tip board then I only need some tips and I'm ready to go - win win all round |

| They're all fairly similar to be honest - probably all around the level 3 grip, with the facet and knurled ones being slightly grippier. |

| At £6 a set I reckon you'd get your money back if you didn't like them anyway lol |

| Well I am a dart tart Darren lol.
The way I look at it is they are a steal at £6 a set with the £1.49 for the conversion points (there are even cheaper points for 89p or £1.19 as well). And as I said above, if I ever feel like trying a soft tip board I won't need to get a set of darts as I already have them - all I would need would be some soft tips at a couple of quid for a pack. |

| Curious. Do you think the barrels actually weigh 20 grams?
I have some 16's and 18's coming anytime. Wonder if the weight is right on?
The reason I ask is because my Eric Bristow soft tips came labeled as 16 grams as well.
Barrels weighed 13 grams. |

| Never thought about the weight last night.
Bearing in mind I got the 20g sets I just weighed 1 of each set and the barrels on their own are all just over 17g - so it would seem that the stated weights are for the whole setup, not just the barrels. That may explain why it took me a couple of throws to get used to them last night lol |

| Weird. It seems like they allow 3 grams for the extra weight to make 20 grams. Just as they did with my darts. 13 gram barrels labeled as 16 gram darts. Funny thing is, i can't get my darts to weigh anywhere near 16 grams. I put a medium shaft on and a slim flight. 14.6 grams is all they weigh.
Your's might be close to 20g with the conversion points though?? |

| With the conversion points, stems and flights they are all between 20g and 21g, so with soft tips instead I would guess 20g would be about right |
