Not for me as long as what I'm selling can be replaced. Now if they are hard to replace then no I won't unless some nut wants to buy at large price. Grip where ya at? lol on floor

A set of 25g Razor grip darts (first darts I used in the league and won a cup with)

A set of Red ring Bristow darts that were my dads.

My current ring grip darts (as I cant replace them.... they're about 10 years old and i don't know the make.

The rest I could part with and not let it worry me.

Oh and my vintage half pints, it'd have to be a really good offer for me to get shot of those

The only ones of mine I may possibly consider selling are the spare sets of gold and natural Kongs that I have - none of the others are for sale or swap

Never got into collecting darts. Which surprises me.

Seems as though everything else I do I get into collecting.

I collect bikes and spend many hours each week searching for rare, vintage parts.

I'm into weightlifting and search Craiglist everyday for old metal weights.

This was one of my all time best scores which netted me thousands of dollars.

Search vintage York 45 hubbing plates on Google. Then you might get an idea what this pile was worth.

I paid $500 for it.

But darts? I don't have anything I treasure. I suppose if Phil or Jackpot gave me a set

of darts they won the World Championship with... I'd probably keep those.

Unless a real collector really wanted them and had cash on hand.

Everything is for sale at the right price. Except my dog. Very Happy

Oh... and to add.

Any story (post) up above mine or any story (post) below I'm sure I could get the person

to change their minds. There HAS to be a point where the person would sell.

$10k wouldn't get me the brass ones that looked like your grand dad's?

They just looked like them. Not even the actual ones.

Hmmm. Very Happy

Haha but that's a ridicolous offer. If we're talking sensible offers then no I wouldn't sell. Put 10k in my hand and il sell you anything I own

All mine could go for the right price no doubt. money

But ones that I wouldn't put on eBay for instance or offer for swaps are my first original set, Bristow Red Ring Crafty Cockneys and my playing sets, the Lewis Silica's.

If I could find the time all the rest would be on eBay right now as I reckon theres a few quid sat in my drawer that I would never use that could be spent on something else, like booze for instance rebel smilie

I wouldn`t sell my dads darts, ( unless Winmau comes calling lol ) but everything else I own are replaceable or else I`d find another dart similar. I`m not to fine tuned so slight differences in a dart won`t take my averages from 60 - 80 so I aint too fussed.

That being said, I have a set of phase 4`s that I won`t sell unless offered big money because I love the look of the dart. I can`t throw worth a damn with them but they are a hell of a nice dart, and I have a set of Hankeys that I love throwing with but they are 21g which is too light. I would swap them for 25g Hankeys but then I wouldn`t sell the 25g ones Smile

Cant believe you got all those weights for $500!!! did you have to collect them yourself as postage would have been silly money?

My Silica Apollos, Phil Taylor World Champion, Phase 5 and 6 are untouchables, at this point.

After reading this thread, I miss the darts that I've sold.

Everything is for sale for the right price IMO but I dont think I can part with my Testaments only for the fact that they are the dart that I've felt very comfortable for 3 years. I've also never really been a collector at most at any 1 time I may have up to 3 sets of darts but 1 set are the testaments and the other 2 are for swapping. I like the whole swapping idea ever since I discovered it on another site about 3 years ago. I get to try out any kind of dart I want to for just the price of shipping which even from here to overseas is only around 5 or 6 US dollars. Where else can you get a set of next to new darts for this price? If you like em you keep em if not swap for another set. I've gotten to try almost all the sets I've ever wanted to and many more that I didn't even think I would be interested in.
