Wow!!! Great deal there. I had the same set only in 16 grams. Love it.
Just found an old pic of them. this was the 10th and final dart in one of my better 501 games.

16 grams!!! looks like there is hardly any bulk at the front of those as there is on the heavier weights, do you have a fast throw Winmau?

I don't think it's fast like some hard throwers I've seen. But I do have a straight shot. I can go under or over a previous thrown dart.

When I started I threw a 24 gram dart like most everyone else. It wasn't until I got my hands on a 14 gram dart that I started

really playing well. In fact, one of the best weekends I had was when I was playing with a 14 gram dart for the 1st time.

Won the luck Friday night with 84 players. Single and triples on Saturday. The tourney directer stopped me in the middle of the single event and

told me I couldn't use a plastic point. I just switched the tips and got on with it.

Still use a 14 gram (total weight) dart to this day.

I suppose it helps though to use a lighter weight for steel as there is a limit on the soft tip weight, so I would probably find it harder to adjust to the lighter soft tip weights, guess you get used to it after a while though.
