| here's my current dart set up. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]23g perfect storm 5s medium designa stems (switched to clear laro tweenies since the picture was taken) pentathlon strong flights stamped with target rings quite the nice dart, however the coating is pretty much gone around the nose of the barrels and ive only had them for about 2 months . the picture was taken a few weeks ago and you can see the coating is starting to go. i'll have to take a current picture sometime soon. ah well. |

| I've got a set of the 22g version that is a similar shape - nice darts to throw and as Larry says Target do make a quality dart.
I agree on the coating though - mine started to show a couple of chips after about the 3rd or 4th practise. I haven't used them in the league but I get them out for the odd throw now and then. I also have a set of the black Tony O'Shea's which are also Target's that I used in the league - still nice darts to throw but the colour on those faded pretty quickly as well. |

| That does look bad for only 3 weeks. I've not used mine constantly but they are nowhere near as faded as that. Even my black O'shea's weren't that bad after a couple of weeks. Target darts are guaranteed - not sure about the coatings - so may be worth sending them an email about it and see what they say. You never know, they may send you a new set. | by three weeks i meant three weeks since the first photo. they are about 2 months old now. i don't know what to make of it, as my brother uses 23g perfect storm 2s that hes had for about 6 months and they look practically brand new. i doubt it has to do with my alien acidity because i grip my darts at the rear of the barrel and most of the fading is at the nose . i'll send target an email and see what they say. cheers mc for the contact info. |

cheers mc for the contact info. I see, but seems strange then if your brothers are in better condition, unless he has been using yours when your not there lol! |

| it is strange. but i doubt its any of his doing ;) he lives about 1800 km south of me. i know that he uses his darts the same, if not more than me on a weekly basis. he plays league and weekly luck of the draws with his storms. weird eh |
